I want to wish all of my followers a happy Thanksgiving tomorrow if you are in the US. Please celebrate safely. I hope you are surrounded by those you love or can get in touch with them tomorrow or in the coming days. I have much to be thankful for this year as I do every year. my list of what to be thankful for this year is as follows in no particular order.
1. God‘s grace, which I do not deserve even a little bit.
2. My parents who I love dearly and vice versa. I have never once doubted their love for me.I am very blessed in that regard. I always have been and I always will be. I always strive to make you both proud of me in every way.
3. Coco, who is my dog. I’m thankful for her unconditional love, and the endless cuddles she provide provides. I’m thankful for the laughter she brings into every life. She touches but most especially mine. I love my silly Coco puff who is so full of life and energy and love for everybody. It is a privilege to be hers and for her to be mine.
4. My blood family.
5. My chosen family who. love me when they don’t have to. I am grateful that family is more than blood every day and as an only child I still get to have siblings and nieces and nephews, but I have the privilege of choosing mine. Sometimes it’s very clear. we didn’t choose each other. We were chosen, for each other. My chosen family has grown this year and for that I am grateful. It is so comforting and empowering to be surrounded by so much love. at all times. We prove together is more than a word. It is how we get to live our lives thankfully. It is a deliberate choice to go through life together and to do life together. I am grateful for each and every one of you that is in my chosen family and I love each and every one of you so much.
6. Last but certainly not least, I’m thankful for each and every one of you reading this post. Thank you for embracing me and my journey so wholeheartedly. Thank you for taking it with me. I will never take one minute of this journey. we are on together for granted or lightly and we’re just getting started, y’all. it feels like it to me, at least, and I can’t wait to see what is next on this journey.
