My Most Important Leap of Faith Leads to A Full Life

I started blogging about my life doing my best to thrive with my condition in September 2019. My chosen brother and journey partner, and my dad told me my story would make a difference in the world, while allowing me to make a good life for myself. They told me this after I had prayed about it for days and felt the conviction to start blogging from God.

That September day, I set up this blog and published my first post. Was I nervous? Absolutely. Did I know what it was what I was supposed to be doing with my life right then? Again, absolutely. In the years since, dad and my chosen brother, and journey partner‘s faith in me, never wavered even when my faith in myself did. I also kept believing doing this work is what I was supposed to be doing. I knew it was part of my purpose. Therefore, I kept showing up every day to make videos or to blog or both.

On Monday, my faith, theirs, and God’s faithfulness collided in the answer to prayers. What am I talking about? Monday brought me my very first brand deal offer! The details are still being ironed out, but I’m excited to share more very soon with all of you! I want to document this for y’all this way because some of you don’t watch my videos and you only interact with me through posts to my blog. My theory is the good news should be shared in all sorts of formats, so I would’ve shared the news this way regardless.

I say all this to get here: please don’t give up on yourselves. Yes, lofty dreams and goals, sometimes take time. The time doesn’t mean God is saying no it’s simply means not yet. After what I’ve experienced since June 2022, this milestone and announcement is all that much sweeter. I am living proof that faith and consistency and share determination to not be sidetracked pay off when the time is right. Thank you for being on this journey with me and for caring what I have to say in whatever form you listen. I wouldn’t be here without each and every one of you and we’re just getting started. I’m immensely grateful from the bottom of my heart.
