I do not know about any of you, but I have been feeling the need to feel better the last couple of weeks. I do not mean physically. I mean emotionally and mentally. Does anybody else feel like that? If you do: this blog post is for you. This blog post details all the ways I have been making myself feel better over the last couple of weeks. I hope these suggestions help you all feel better as well. Feel free to add your own suggestions in the comments so we can help each other feel better. We are all interconnected and we need each other. In my world, we would call what I just said together. The sentiment is the same, however. The suggestions are as follows below in no order.
- check on the people you love, talk to them, let them talk to you
- meditation/deep breathing exercises
- prayer
- listen to your favorite music
- watch your favorite movies/tv shows
- turn off notifications that make you feel a hamster on a wheel
- delete any apps that make you unhappy/uncomfortable
- dance
- have a good cry: this is cathartic for me
- do the things that bring you joy
- exercise
- get outside
totally feel where you’re coming from! i second this list. ::) my yoga/meditation really makes a difference in my life.
