How to Make 2025 the Best Year Yet

2024 was the one of the most difficult, busy, and chaotic years of my life in a lot of ways. It was also the best in some ways. Both are true statements. The biggest lesson I keep needing to learn? Both light and dark exist in life and most of the time they coexist. Some of my year I documented here. A lot I didn’t. I want 2025 to be joyous for us all. I feel we all need it. I want this blog to be a place where you are: seen, heard, loved, and valued simply as you are.

I do not make resolutions anymore because I always break them. I call them challenges or goals instead. I am calling them challenges in 2025. Here mine are in no particular order:

  1. Exercise daily
  2. Eat enough protein/remember to eat/be mindful of the calories I consume
  3. Daily meditation
  4. Pray daily
  5. Drink plenty of water
  6. Stay humble and kind
  7. Be present daily
  8. Be grateful every day
  9. Tell people whom I love that I do often
  10. Continue to feel everything and use those feelings to fuel your creativity
  11. Let together do what it always has and well
  12. Continue to turn down the noise of life
  13. Keep cleaning out as needed: try to be even more mindful of your relationship with stuff
  14. Be open to every opportunity God brings your way
  15. Have more fun and document it here or in video form
  16. Get enough rest and sleep
  17. Try not to overwork
  18. Be positive as much as possible

What are y’all hoping to achieve or focus on for yourselves this year?
